Tracy Knows Kentwood!


22 years ago, my new husband and I were living in a 900-sq. ft. apartment in the Marina with five cats and a baby on the way. I knew something had to change. 

I was still practicing law and didn't have a clue about buying a home, but I knew a great agent and she encouraged us to look at homes in Kentwood. Kentwood felt so very far away from my job in Century City, but right away we saw how much more house we could get for our budget than in Mar Vista, our other target community. 

We settled into our Kentwood home just as our baby was coming home after three months in the NICU. It was a crazy time at Casa Conyers. 22 years later we still love Kentwood and I've been privileged enough to participate and support lots of community groups, including our local Neighborhood Council, NC Planning & Land Use Committee, NC Community Plan Update Ad Hoc Committee, start my living90045.com blog with its popular facebook page, and a host of other community activities. I've also been heavily involved with the Kentwood Home Guardians and Emerson Avenue Community Garden. Come hang out with your neighbors in the Kentwood Neighbors facebook group I moderate.
